The Town Founders wanted not only to honor the land, but also to achieve harmony between our lifestyle and the local eco-system. By using renewable materials, Carothers Crossing is committed to providing the best possible lifestyle for its residents without ever compromising future residents' rights to the same level of comfort and enjoyment of the land. Future plans call for a farmer's market, a system for composting, a community vegetable garden, and a grass-roots recycling program.	We value social and economic diversity, so we offer six different home styles from from the $170s to the $700s. Our building partners share these values by providing environment-friendly products and services to residents that, ultimately, will also save them money and energy. Extra time and money spent at the inception of the project was focused on designing a cost-efficient, healthy community for the present and for the long life of Carothers.

Public education is currently provided to residents of Carothers Crossing by the Davidson Count School District. There is a possibility that a school might eventually be located in Carothers Crossing. The Developer intends to donate land for an elementary school to the Davidson County School Board. If a school is built in Carothers, it will be based on the decision and subject to the rules and regulations of Davidson County School Board. The Developers will not have any ownership interest in any school built in Carothers, nor will they be in control of the operation of any school. No guarantee can be given to any resident of Carothers that their children will be permitted to attend any public school within Carothers. School Zoning at all grade levels is established by the Davidson County School Board and may change for all or portions of Carothers from year to year based on changing school and student populations, both within Carothers and surrounding areas. The developers, nor any of their employees, shall be liable for any actions or omissions of the Davidson County School Board.
