![]() Carothers Crossing is green, and not just in the usual Tennessee way, with rolling hills and beautiful trees. We're creating a truly progressive community by focusing on three core tenants of new urbanism: walkability, sustainability, and affordability. |

![]() Creating a pedestrian-oriented community instead of a car-oriented one is our first step (no pun intended) to staying green. With daily conveniences such as markets, eateries, dry cleaners, and salons are located within a five minutes' walk of residents. Narrow, tree-lined streets, punctuated by sidewalks and miles of trails offer homeowners the opportunity for both exercise and a reduced carbon footprint. |
![]() The Town Founders wanted not only to honor the land, but also to achieve harmony between our lifestyle and the local eco-system. By using renewable materials, Carothers Crossing is committed to providing the best possible lifestyle for its residents without ever compromising future residents' rights to the same level of comfort and enjoyment of the land. Future plans call for a farmer's market, a system for composting, a community vegetable garden, and a grass-roots recycling program. |
![]() We value social and economic diversity, so we offer six different home styles from from the $170s to the $700s. Our building partners share these values by providing environment-friendly products and services to residents that, ultimately, will also save them money and energy. Extra time and money spent at the inception of the project was focused on designing a cost-efficient, healthy community for the present and for the long life of Carothers. |
